Alligator Adventure

Today we went to Alligator adventure, it was pretty neat! When we first walked in you saw a bunch of alligators like in the picture below, but then you walked a little more and there were so many more and they were huge!! They had a ton of alligators ranging from babies to some over 50 and 60 years old. Some of the large alligators were 14 feet long and weighting 1,000 pounds!

Some of the bigger ones, you were able to get pretty close to them, they had fences but they would lay right up next to it.



They also had other exhibits with beavers, otters, snakes, lizards, and many more. Here is Jacob watching the Lemurs run around. They also had 2 Siberian tigers that they have raised since they were babies. Jacob looking at a big lizardThey come out a couple times during the day and feed the large alligators. It was crazy to watch what you think are lazy reptiles move extremely fast to get the food. Some of them were huge and would crawl and bite the others to get the chicken that they were feeding them. Here is a short video of them eating, we all thought this was really neat to watch!

Here is an albino alligators, it said that they are very rare and these are the only 2 that are in captivity it also said that they don't know of anymore anywhere but you never know.
