Welcome Emily Anne!

After what we thought was going to be an easy delivery, Emily Anne White arrived at 12:17 p.m, weighing 9 lbs and 21 3/4 inches long.Emily's birth story was one that scared us all! Mommy went in to the hospital to get induced at 39 weeks. They started the process of getting thing moving along and at around 11:50 they decided to break mommy's water to get things moving a little quicker. Throughout the whole pregnancy mommy had placenta previa but was last check at 36 weeks and everything was good and normal. We soon found that wasn't the case and after breaking the water, blood started pouring out. Seconds later the doctor came in and said we are going to have this baby now and she was going to come as an emergency c-section. Since no epidural was in place yet, they had no choice but to put mommy to sleep so daddy wasn't able to be in the room. The doctor's got Emily out very quick and she was one healthy baby! Once she was born they took her to the nursery within about 10 minutes where daddy got to meet his new precious baby girl and watch her get her first bath. Daddy meeting Emily for the first time.
First footprints and getting hospital bracelets put on. (Above Mimi was talking pictures through the glass, but then Daddy brought in a camera)
